About Us
Tired of Saturday nights being the only way to meet new people, two friends - Swarnim and Sreyas - decided to make everyone wake up at 6am on Sundays instead.
What started on 17th November 2024 as a group of 10 people going for a jog, has now ballooned into a citywide sensation with 60+ runs conducted, over 12k followers on Instagram, and more than βΉ80k donated to charity. We've had partnerships with brands like Red Bull, Epigamia, Fast&Up, Lenskart and hosted everything from bootcamps to yoga days, from calisthenics workshops to hyrox simulations. Nobody saw this coming, least of all us.
Our mission going forward is to build fitness culture in Calcutta. We want to make movement fun, social and a part of daily life. We're open to all ages and all fitness levels.
How It Works
Here's what a typical run looks like.
- π
Show up at the start location at the mentioned time. No registration required. The weekly runs are always free.
- ππ»ββοΈ
Run 5K at your own pace. Doesn't matter if you're fast or slow.
- π―
Play games with the rest of the group after the run. Relay, tug of war, football, kho-kho, etc.
- β
Afters are where the community really happens. Bond with your friends over coffee (sometimes even beer xD).
Points To Note
- 1
When people hear the word "club" they think there's a "membership" and a fee involved. There's nothing of that sort. It's free and open to everyone. Just show up. Attend whenever you want to, it's super chill.
- 2
You don't have to attend every activity. If you just want to come for the run then do that. If you just want to come for the afters, you're free to do so.
- 3
You don't need to come with someone. Most people come alone their first time and leave with new friends.
- 4
There's no pressure to keep a pace, hit a time, or finish strong. Hell you don't even need to run. You can just walk too.
- 5
Other than our normal runs, we also keep classes, workshops and events from time to time. These are usually paid.
Details are posted on Instagram and WhatsApp before every run.

What people say
Hear it from the people who show up every weekend.
βAt a time when work was taking over my life, CRC gave my weekends purpose. What used to feel like a brief pause before Monday became something I look forward to. A chance to reset, recharge, and do something meaningful for myself.β

βThe run club was a life saver when I came back from studies. The club allowed me to meet great people while enabling me to get back into running. 10/10 society. 10/10 people. Would recommendβ
